Building for the Next Century

Sustainability is not a department here — it is the way we build.

Renovate Before You Rebuild

The lowest-carbon building is the one that already exists. That is why renovation sits at the heart of our business: extending the life of Finland's post-war housing stock saves enormous amounts of embodied carbon compared with demolition and rebuilding.

Our energy retrofits typically cut heating consumption by 35–55%, paying for themselves while making homes warmer.

Concrete targets we report against every year.

92% Material Recycling

All demolition waste is sorted on site. Concrete, metals, timber and bricks are recycled or reused; only a fraction goes to landfill.

Low-Carbon Concrete

Since 2024, all our structural concrete is low-carbon grade, cutting cement-related emissions by up to 40% per cubic metre.

Fossil-Free Sites

By 2028 every site will run on renewable diesel or electric machinery. Our Helsinki fleet is already 60% converted.

Machines Matter Too

Construction machinery accounts for a significant share of site emissions. We maintain our fleet meticulously, retrofit older machines with cleaner engines and schedule logistics to minimise empty running.
